BIO
Brett began his career working with entrepreneurs and closely held companies in Dallas, Texas. This experience seeded a passion for working with small businesses and helping them to realize their full potential through effective business strategies. After moving on to a larger CPA firm where he learned complex tax structuring and minimization techniques while working with Fortune 500 companies, he decided to take his experience and apply those same techniques to smaller, entrepreneurial businesses where they could make more of an impact.
Brett currently manages a team of bookkeeping and tax professionals. Brett and his team have worked to implement and maintain QuickBooks Online for thousands of entrepreneurs in all types of industries, including professional services, legal & financial services, real estate, health care, technology, and retail.
Brett Philips is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and founding partner of Shifflett & Philips, LLP, a thriving CPA firm in Dallas, Texas. Brett received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas.
